A couple of months ago Saveur test kitchen baking maven Ben Mims contacted me for some holiday cookie recipes. I quickly put together some favorites from around the world and sent them over along with my precious 19th century Dutch speculaas mold (cookies made from it are pictured at the bottom right above). Here's the result, a link to the article:
I hope some of them will become your favorites too.
Now it's back to the kitchen for me and a couple of new holiday recipes for later in the week.
OK, I thought I was done with my holiday baking. But now I may have to go back and "supplement."

Thank you for this post - I just made the Basler Brunsli because of it. Such a simple, delicious recipe. I love the short ingredient list that yields such a wonderful cookie.

Another fantastic international recipe collection. I just made your Spitzbuebe from your book "Cookies Unlimited" and they are darling. I keep telling everyone they need to have this book in their library. Every recipe made from the book are as marvelous as the next. Thank you so much for sharing all your recipes from all over the world.
